Parable Conference unites the energies of the U.S. Dominican Family to renew and deepen its life and mission for the sake of preaching the Gospel in today's world.

Our Vision

Parable Conference exists to support and strengthen the whole of the Dominican Family, the Order of Preachers, in the United States, in its mission of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Parable Conference strives to serve the Dominican Family, in and through all its branches, affiliates, and friends by cultivating a culture of collaboration.  Linking and working with others, Parble Conference offers diverse opportunities to:

• deepen communal and contemplative prayer;
• engage in study motivated by the common desire to seek truth in order to speak truth;
• encounter the Spirit and one another in dialogue rooted in contemplative listening and intentional speaking;
• build relationships of mutuality and respect that witness love, healing and reconciliation as the foundation for the common good.
